Accomplishments

Following are a few of our accomplishments in the last several years.

  • Design and installed an Island-Wide, 400 mile cable TV facility distribution system, which included the installation of multiple electronic equipments, Fiber Optic and Coax cabling for the local Cable TV Company.
  • Designed, installed, terminated and tested 16 miles of Fiber Optic Cables for a Government Pilot Project to access Traffic Control Cameras at designated major intersections on Guam.
  • Designed, installed, terminated and tested over 3 miles of Fiber Optic Cable linking a Security Camera System with the central host at designated areas frequented by Guam's visitors within the Tourist Industry.
  • Design, installed, terminated and tested a LAN system at the Guam International Airport.
  • Designed, installed, terminated and tested a coaxial cabling distribution system in the newly constructed FAA Control Center and Tower.
  • Replaced over 3,000 pay per view TV set top controllers within the hotels on Guam. Also rewired the RF distribution systems and installed new video delivery systems.
  • Pulled and terminated Fiber Optic Cables which interconnected 12 hotels within the tourist belt area on Guam.
  • Designed, installed, terminated and tested over 20 miles of Fiber Optic Cable interconnecting approximately 21 Public School Facilities funded by the Federal E-RATE program.
  • Designed, installed, terminated and tested fiber, voice, data and video systems installation to over 2,500 class rooms and offices in 11 public schools to include wiring of all Main Distribution Frames and Intermediate Distribution Frames.
  • Installed, terminated and tested approximately 22 miles of Fiber Optic Cable in various locations throughout Guam for the local Cable TV Company.
  • Install, terminated and tested over 15 miles of Fiber Optic Cable for the local Telephone Company to roll out New Video Services.
  • Installed over 10 miles of multiple inner ducts from the Beach Landing Sites to TATA Communications cable station, for undersea Fiber Optic Cable landing on Guam.
  • Re-designed and re-wired over 1500 Hotel rooms and multiple family units throughout Guam.
  • Installed payphone facilities in two Department of Corrections Detention Facilities and linked the two equipments via a wireless low powered Microwave Radio System
  • At Andersen Air Force Base, CalPac constructed 6 miles of buried conduit and hand-hole system, install fiber and copper cables, splice and tested the facilities for the new Ammunition Igloos constructed by Dick Pacific.
  • CalPac was the prime contractor to installed, terminated and tested fiber, voice, data and video to over 300 connections in the new AFFES BX located at AAFB. CalPac also designed and installed the paging system and an enhance cellular antenna addition was installed which augmented local cellular coverage while shopping in the BX.
  • Provided civil trenching for conduit, manhole and hand-hole placement associated with the installation of electrical, telephone and CATV facilities at the New Tipalao housing project located on the Naval Base.
  • Designed, installed, spliced, terminated and tested fiber, voice, data and electronic facilities for the Local Telephone Company to 108 new duplex homes being constructed on the Navy Base at Tipalao Housing.
  • CalPac was the prime contractor to re-build and restore the local Cable TV Companies Ariel distribution system that was devastated by two (2) major Typhoons in 2002 and 2003. CalPac recruited, transported and housed over 30 skilled linemen from the US mainland and employed over 80 local hires to complete the restoration.
  • CalPac installed over 200,000 feet of CAT5E, to approximately 900 terminal locations and 5,700 feet of Fiber Optic Cable, connecting numerous switches for S.I.P.E.R. net and N.I.P.E.R. net facilities on the USS Frank Cable a submarine tender stationed in Guam.
